I'm not sure about sharing strings between scripts. Maybe someone else can shed some light for us. Worst case scenario you could save the ascii values of the username as the scripts VAL_X {X=1,..,9} and transfer between scripts. This would obviously limit the length of your username to 9 which is reasonable enough!

here's a thread about sharing strings between scripts. I think sharing the ascii integers is probably simpler though, especially if you limit the length of a username!

also, there is a resource tsomewhere in the forum hat allows to share up to 100 strings... search for it!
