Unfortunately the app fails to start for me. I have Zone Alarm but the only warning I get from it is that the program is trying to monitor keyboard activities ( does this warning for 3drad too so I don't think this is the problem). If I delete windowed.ini I get the screen mode dialogue but once I have made a setting the application just stops.
Other 3drad apps seem to run OK so I guess it has something to do with the encryption?

Windows XP SP2. Nvidia 9600.
THanks
Matthew

I will have the complete version (including the export/shader-plugin) out soon. (today or tomorrow)
This will not be encrypted.

I also started experimenting on slope based texturing for next update, and it looks better than I though :)

I got some more features also for next release.

You can paint roads :)
..well almost, you add a simple alphamap over saying where the road should go, then you apply high quality uv repeated asphalt texture+normalmap.

Now this is starting to look like quality terrain with roads :)

The shader now takes 11 textures,

4 ground textures
4 ground normalmaps
1 alphamap for roads
1 roadtexture.
1 normalmap for roads.

This is truly EPIC!!! Can you make it so it works inside 3drad for 40, or is that only possible for 41+? Looks amazing anyway!

Custom shaders only works for 6.41 and later. But for $5 at the donation board you can opt-in 6.42 anytime :)
6.41 is scheduled to be free March 1st i think.

Testdriving a 2x2 km terrain 173k triangles, slope textured/shaded  and a road added.
The track takes about 5 minutes to complete one lap.
Terrain mesh is from L3DT.
