Does anyone know of a good software to convert from sketchup 7 to .3ds, 3ds max, or anything else that can be imported to Blender?  Sketchup can convert to .dae in the free verion, but I can't get Python to run in Blender, so I can't open it.  If anyone could tell me how to do that, it would work too. :)

If you have the 3drad exporter plugin for sketchup.
Can you export it to a .x file.
This .x file can you import in blender.
Sorry for my bad English, I'm from the Netherlands!

There's a .x exporter for sketchup?  Can you give me a link?  That takes out the extra step of importing it to Blender.  (if I could, that is.)

Yes, I know, but as I said earlier, I can't get Python working on Blender.
