Author Topic: Tree "Painting" and Tree Shadows  (Read 1106 times)

« on: November 15, 2009, 07:38:33 PM »
Some of the other "free" 3D game engines allow for the "painting" of 3D trees and shrubs and grass, complete with realtime shadows.  How does 3DRad handle the importation and shadowing of these kinds of assets?

Thanks,

Greg Smith

3drad has its own trees as objects. You need to load them en place them manually.

there's no suck thing as "painting" anything, at all.

about shadows, I think shadows work automatically. no worries there.
