Look on the forum for a list of 3d model editors. Some of them can export to directx (.x). Then just look on the net for models that can be imported by the model editor, so you can export them to .x
Look for example on turbosquid.com. Then search for lowpoly models. Preferably with a 512x512, 1024x1024 or 2048x2048 texture applied to it. Or just look for game models.
