Author Topic: Need help on chase cam for spaceship.  (Read 1530 times)

« on: September 30, 2009, 02:21:26 AM »
hi, I've done a simple spaceship and link it using the aircraftdemo. I have problem when I wanted to create a chasecam that is placed inside the spaceship. As i fly the plane, the camera follows the ridigbody as normal. but when it turn left or right or up & down. The camera does not follow the orientation of the rigidbody. Does script involve in order to have the chase cam to turn as i turn the spaceship? I really need help on this cause i really dono how to use the script. thanks.  I will provide the pic for better explanation.

In the property dialog for the CamChase object, please make sure the 'Rotation speed' parameter is 1.0 (or a value very close to it, like 0.99)

I did that but it still does not follow the orientation of the plane. something like this pic.. chasecam1.jpg is what I wanted and chasecam2.jpg is what I face problem when i tilt the airplane. The camera does not tilt.

try un-checking the "no tilting" and "ignore actor orientation" settings for the cam.
