  • Fixed small bug when trying to convert to Terrain and ply/pol is 0 byte.
  • Copy checkboxes are now deafult checked.
  • Added 3 browse buttons to open SkinMesh, RigidBody and Import folder directly.
  • It's no longer required to have the default importfolder in the radimpfolders.ini file.

I'm having trouble with the making terrain out of rigid body feature. The rigid bodies I make and use in 3d rad don't have any missing triangles or any problems. 3D objects, like the car, can go over them without any problems and follow the changes in elevation on the rigid body. As soon as I change it to a terrain using your application the 3d objects will fall through the terrain as soon as it comes to any change in elevation in the terrain model. The rest of your application is better than pure gold but somehow when my rigid bodies are changed to terrain it no longer works. I wouldn't mind having it stay a rigid body if lights worked on it but 3drad lights don't work on rigid bodies, just terrains and skin meshes. Everything else works perfectly and is just wonderful. Thanks for the application.

Well I found a quick fix to my problem. I just have the rigid body in place and put the terrain that was created from the rigid body model right on top of it and make the rigid body geometry not show and the lights work perfectly and no falling off the terrain.  :D

you need WinRAR to open it. It is free.

Actually 7-zip is better. it's lifetime free and opens a variety of different stuff too.

or you can make it easier and import the terrain as a skinmesh and have it over the rigidbody.

winrar does variety too, and once the trial runs out, it still works

Currently using 7.22

  • Just one feature, a new Share Source button.
It packs your project into a sharable source in zip format. (It's required to compile your project first in the default compiledProject folder)
.
.

Also make sure you read and understand the disclaimer on the first page. v07 brings alot of fileoperations and testing on my local system might not have discovered all bugs!
