Hi guys. I know it's been forever since I kind of disappeared off the radar with my project. The good news is I'm going to leak out one screenshot and let you guys do the guesswork. :D The bad news is that it's still going to take me forever to complete my project. :'(

You... assemble a robot! Or car.

wow... that's a great looking rendering...

is it a screenshot from 3DRAD, or from a modeling program...

did you make it the 3D models in the scene...

Yep it's Unity. But my models would also rock in 3drad. When you have really good normalmaps, diffuse textures, and cubemaps, things will really shine! For example, that robot arm started at a million and went down to 4050 triangles - along with all the detail that is stored in the textures. Most of the magic happens in blender, while I do have some shaders added to unity that help with the gloss / reflections. Blender is so weird too. You can literally render the model into a uv map... all shaded and everything.. and yet its just a texture. Crazy!

And yes. I did model everything. It was hard! Took a very long time.

Glad to see you're still developing man!
I'm working with unity as well (but still loving 3DRad).

Keep up the dream!

Hello again.. Well, it's sad news the 3DRad forum is closing down. I'm probably not going to show up on a lot of other forums for the time being.. Mainly because I've been so busy with my current project.

Anyway, I just thought I'd put one last screenshot up before the forum goes inactive. I'm still building the website, but be sure to check back in the future if you'd like to see updates on my project.

It's been a great 5 years learning and visiting with the incredibly helpful community here. You guys have been a great inspiration to me.
