Hi all, this project is just for now a possible game, i don't know if it will goes good, or if this project will look decent ;D. But the idea is just escape of the bad guy behind you, i just made 1 now, but the game will have a lot of obstacles and i will try to make too much levels if everything goes good. Here some screenshots:

Here i rotate a little bit the sunlight to test how the bump on the floor looks

And here a video, recorded from 3drad editor, so this is how the game will look with the sounds effects and the music. In the first part of the video i test the game, in the second part you can see how the "bad guy" jump, how works the velocity and the animation, if you think i need change something tell me so i can fix it :)

without knowing anything else about the project, i immediately like the visuals...  nice, clean, realistic... scaled to a real world perspective... this could represent a real city area...

a lil graffitti on the walls and some trash on the ground would make it complete, but that can come later after the specifics of the game is worked out...

looking good so far...

Hey, guys, long time no see. Haven't been back in awhile. Just wanted to say Facujk101 that your idea is pretty funny :D. I do like the character models, are they ragdolls or animated skinmeshes? The scenery is nice too, makes it look...interesting. You could possibly have a story for this project as well...

Hey, welcome back to the forum! Thanks for the comments, the models aren't ragdolls, but the models have some animations. Also Joseuz is helping to make a good story, in some moment i will post it :)

Here more progress:

I add a civilian, the old man walks forward when the player is near the man starts to walk, so you can crash him and fall.

And here i add a taxi, some buildings and shadows.

nice cityscape... or townscape (might be more accurate)...

the immersive experience of walking around a virtual town looks quite inviting...  especially one in which you are being pursued   :)

question... do you build your levels with individual building models, or as a single model with all the buildings already in place?

Thanks guys! :). I made a single model with the buildings in the place, i prefer make individual buildings to work with lod and use bumps or other details, but in this case i made the buildings in the model for don't have problems with the model position.

I have always loved the visuals in your games, keep this one please :D. I think most of us would like to play this ( or its just me being a bit selfish XD)

Some lightmapping might look great on the map, and I'll be happy to whip one up if you want, still might not be as experienced as the others in lightmapping, but yeah I sure think it would do wonders on the map.

Is it an endless running game, with just one direction (no pun intended) or can you go anywhere in the city?

Thanks, I am pleased of your comment :), if you want it, i can upload a little demo of what im making for now, but you need to know, it works very lag for the shadow. I tried to reduce the polygons, and i did everything to do it. I was working  on some details, but i had problems with my pc so i stoped for a little time.

I was working on lightmapping, i change the sun position to make a night city, it looks really good, but the fps decreases a lot for the shadows, the lights, the bumps and the reflections (it was raining ;D)

Answering your last question, the player only moves foward (you just press left and right) in a area of 4,36 mts, and you can jump and look backward.

If you wanna i can upload a little demo, i need work again on the project because i repaired the pc mistake ;).
