This is tiresome. I understand you have no bad intentions, but as you might understand you're virtually asking "how do I make a game?". I can't answer this because first of all, I would be typing for hours straight and secondly, there are millions of different ways.

You'll have to start on your own and return here when you have some more concrete questions.

Hi kvnm. Welcome to the forum.

There are an almost infinite number of ways to make the game type you would like to emulate - but be aware that the games you speak of have been made over the course of years by experienced professionals, I wouldn't expect to make the next COD beater in 3DRad.

However, to have a go at making your own versions of this type of game in 3DRad, you can start by using the First Person Shooter addon in this link...

http://www.3drad.com/addons/FirstPersonShooterPlayer_tac.php

...or, to have a go at building one yourself from scratch, you can follow some of the tutorials that are already available on YouTube - like...

https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=3drad+first+person+shooter+addon&oq=3drad+first+person+shooter+addon&gs_l=youtube.3...2916.9818.0.9980.32.32.0.0.0.0.128.1737.31j1.32.0...0.0...1ac.1.11.youtube.ZGGGiu4Lc5c

However - of utmost importance is to read the help files for each item included with 3DRad, and go through some of the demo projects and examples included.

When you understand the engine, and have a good idea of what you want to create and how to go about it, then you will be able to produce something as good as Roberto's own Forest of the Undead....

The engine can certainly handle better graphics. I illustrated Roberto's work as a complete game with good gameplay. Aim for this first - graphics later.

Yep. The above.
The engine matters surprisingly little to the graphical quality.
I'm sorry to tell you there is no "Insert Stunning Artwork"-button in any engine.

i doubt if  stuff done in RAD can match the scenes from recent AAA titles...

3DRAD does have a few graphic shortcomings...  mainly having to do with lighting and shadowing capabilities...

that being said...

scenes in 3DRAD can equal the graphics of AAA titles from a few years back (DOOM3)...  and that aint  bad at all...

the default lighting and shaders can give some half decent results... but if you really want to push the capabilities of RAD, the shaders from GeneTransfer and Shamar are what you'll need to try out...

a few examples...

SHADMAR's System Shaders --> http://www.3drad.com/forum/index.php?topic=5001.0

GeneTransfer's PointLight/Shadow Shaders in use...

also...

the bleeding edge may not be what you need for every game... some retro style games can work quite well without the latest  the  in graphics...

Thanks mike, i know that the level of graphics depend on my arts and techniques, but I've only seen pictures with very low levels of graphics (except a clon game that i saw some days ago, but supposedly the designer edit the code of the engine)

I thought the engine had many limitations in graphics.
anyway mi pc is very old and i dont want to make a haigh level of graphics game, but some decent
:)

@impheris...  i'm currently relegated to working with an antiquated system myself... a dell optiplex 2-something or the other....  the only change to it is an agp video card...

all the graphics depicted above are within the capabilities of this machine...

that's one of the reasons i'm staying with RAD right now...
