Thanks Roberto.

Most of what you suggested is planned.  I posted this strictly for update purposes and know its riddled with bugs xD

As for the races, there will be a combination of circuits, downhill, and "other" types that will greatly diversify your experience.  The money system has also been put in, so you win exp and cash.  The cash goes toward races and parts, and the level system is for adding to your sled stats.  This dual point system keeps things interesting since the whole Sleditor concept isn't even necessary xD  I made it to give the game more appeal and expansion potential.  This has also been added for open-world adventure RPG stuff down the road.

Once I get this 'dummy' race to where I can replicate the mechanics of the game, I'll start cranking out all the other races and then the game will have some weight to it.

hi,
yesterday I downloaded the thingy too  ;)

my (very short) gameplay test feeling do not differs from Robertos comment, the menu gfx looks great, unfortunately not usabe at full screen mode, needs to add a mouse pointer.
I expected some crazy downhill race action too  8)
also I am not sure if there are some point collecting events during race, but it could be cool...

question: the toboggan vehicles have fruit drivers? I was driving some bannana thing, but the rest seems to me was empty  :P

One of the more unique features of the game is that the opponent's names and sled parts are randomly procedurally generated.  Occasionally you will encounter special types of racers that can give you extra stuff/points/exp/cash/whatever for beating them in a race.  Also randomly a new sled part will appear on the track that you have to collect to add to your Sleditor options.  These kinds of things will boost the replay value for sure :)
