Author Topic: Simple Starter Project and First Person Character  (Read 758 times)

I can't remember if i've posted these elsewhere prior to this, so here are 2 resources that may come in handy in a single zip (see Attached File)....

You Get 2 .3dr projects and a smaller 1 meter sphere rigidbody object...

1 - A Simple Starter Project that you can use to quickly jumpstart your project... just a simple setup with terrain, sky, sun, and gravity all set up to save you the time of doing it manually...

and

2 - A First Person Character Project... a walking Andro with a cam attached... mouse and arrow keys to walk and look...

To Install, just unzip to your 3DRAD folder... everything should automatically go into the proper places...

To Use, Simply open the Starter Project and then Merge the FP Character project...

Next, link the terrain to the character and link the character rigidbody to the terrain and gravity objects...  and you have a simple first person walkaround prpject ready to run...

You can also just add the First Person Character to your existing project by Merging the .3dr and making the appropriate links (see the README)

Please Report Any Issues You Encounter...

there's nuthin "cool" here... these are just 2 premade resources designed to save people a lil work...
and no, 3DRAD doesn't "already come with" these...

if you don't have any use for it... then don't download it... simple as dat...
