Hi.

I want add video to my game menu.I used animate Sprite But it takes too long to run and I think this way is not good idea.

Please Guide Me.

your fairly correct, however there is a method to do this..

Mike Hense found a way to do it using a script with a video in a folder. The script calls up a bat file which then plays the video in a new window or something like that.

I don't think that's strictly true, I seem to remember someone (possibly Mike or Jess?) saying you can launch mediaplayer from Rad and then come back after playing.... or I made that up, to be honest I may have dreamed it

Lol, due to moderation you missed my post..

Mike Hense did a script for this, something like

3drad CAN play video...

And it sounds legit so.search and you should find it.

yeah i remember that too, with a script you can open a video with mediaplayer like cyper said, you have to search on the forum, but there is, somewhere... ::)

you can do it only in non-compiled project...Or i think in window mode...In Full you cant do it

If you want to make a video inside 3D Rad, the best way would be using bone based animation, including cam animations.

but run media player for player video is very bad.I want make commercial game but i think is not good idea.Are there any other ideas?
