No, its just using the weeping angel.

I see you're switching angel models at a certain distance. With a rigged skinmesh and some fancy foo scripting, you could have it interpolate node rotations between idle and attack poses as it closes in. It'd be extra creepy. A toothy gaping maw would also be a nice addition to the attack model/pose. In any case, seeing it switch while you walk up to it kinda spoils it.
My one complaint is frequent periods of non-responsiveness. Maybe too much rain for my computer. Maybe if it could be toned down when fps is low?

This thread reminded me of this video :D

Yeah, as I said only beta, but yeah, will have that fixed up soon enough. I'll probably just make it when you see it it completely freezes, as I'm not a c++ scripting guru ;D and it's more authentic if its completely still :). I haven't had any trouble with freezing. I run at a solid 30-50 fps. What I'm thinking of doing, is having a menu, with a few graphics choices, Very Low, Low, Average, High, Ultra. Low, no rain, no grass, no fog, low lod. Low will be the same as very low, but with rain & grass. Medium will have grass, rain, some fog. High will have grass, rain, and fog everywhere in the map. Ultra will have grass rain and fog everywhere, even outside the map, the fog will grows thicker ass the weeping angel grows closer & gfx when you look at it.

Liked the video ;).
What did you think of the atmosphere? Did it get any sccares out oof you? ;D

Loss of control under dire circumstances? Sure, a little nerve wracking :D
The atmosphere? (Maybe my audio hardware just didn't play it, but) I think there should be an eerie sound when the angel is creeping up on you - something to reflect that you're about to die and should look around frantically :o
The pitch-black with a dim flashlight is effective. You might add some random flicker as the player moves too, with a chance of flicker stopping in an off state, where you'd have to jar it back on (by moving a little more). Old D-cell flashlight with slightly corroded contacts, plus being in the rain - that's gotta suck.
While still testing, you could also use keyboard toggles for turning things on and off, and GUI them later. Menus would probably mean more load time, which makes testing take longer I think.

yeah there isnt a sound yet when the angel creeps up on you.
Thanks, will definitely implement that :)

I will probably add battery light for the flashlight, and you have to find new batteries.
